A woman was arrested Friday night in Centralia after allegedly falling asleep in the wrong hotel room, then assaulting its rightful occupants.

At 7:41 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a report of a woman passed out in a hotel room that she hadn’t rented in the 200 block of Centralia College Boulevard.

Rachel J. Rider, 36, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of fourth-degree assault, one count of first-degree criminal trespassing and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

Rider allegedly assaulted the rightful occupants of the room she was sleeping in after they asked her to leave. She also allegedly gave officers a false name when they arrived.
