Victims Held at Gunpoint in Rochester Home-Invasion Robbery

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home-invasion robbery in which masked men allegedly assaulted two people and stole firearms and cash.

The incident was reported at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 17000 block of Vircon Lane Southwest in Rochester.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, three people in their early 30s were in the residence when three masked men in dark clothing forced their way through the door.

The suspects allegedly held the victims at gunpoint and restrained them with duct tape.

Several firearms, cash and an “undisclosed amount of marijuana” were taken, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Two of the victims were struck with blunt objects during the incident, and one was transported to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia for treatment.

The incident is under investigation.
