Two sex offenders have recently registered as transients in Thurston County, according to news releases from the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
Devon Q. McWeeny, 39, a Level 2 sex offender, is required to register due to a 1996 conviction for second-degree assault with sexual motivation.
McWeeny was sentenced to spend nine months in jail. At 18 years old, he was accused of having sexual contact with a 4-year-old girl.
McWeeny is described as a white male standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 205 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Level 1 sex offender Daniel D. Fisher, 21, is required to register as a sex offender due to a 2010 conviction for first-degree child molestation. He was sentenced to 104 weeks confinement suspended under the Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative, 12 months community supervision and 40 hours community service.
At 13, he was accused of having sexual contact with 5- and 6-year-old boys.
Fisher is described as a white male standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
