Sleepy Castle Rock Man Injured in State Route 6 Crash

A Castle Rock driver was injured Sunday evening in a rollover crash after he reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.

At 6:55 p.m. on Sunday, troopers from the Washington State Patrol responded to the crash at milepost 9 of state Route 6, 12 miles west of Pe Ell.

A 2016 Kia Soul was heading east when it reportedly went off the road, hit an embankment and rolled.

The driver, Lex L. Strom, 54, of Castle Rock, was injured and transported to Providence Centralia Hospital. He was cited for driving with wheels off the roadway.
