Women Cited on Littering Charges

• At 9:28 a.m. on Tuesday, police cited Candace R. Baughman, 30, of Centralia, for littering in the 100 block of South Pearl Street, She allegedly threw a lit cigarette on the ground.

• At 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, police cited Brittney N. Burgard, 29, of Centralia, in the 600 block of West Main Street on suspicion of littering after allegedly discarding a lit cigarette.

Toolbox Taken

• At 1:59 p.m. on Tuesday, a tool box was reported stolen from the back of a vehicle in the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue.

Hit and Run

• At 4:51 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of a hit and run in the 200 block of South Pearl Street.

Centralia Woman Arrested With Stolen Vehicle

• At 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, police arrested Jennifer L. Barber, 40, of Centralia, in the 300 block of South Gold Street on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and outstanding warrants.

License Plates, Tabs Stolen

• At 9:54 a.m. on Wednesday, license plates were reported stolen in the 1100 block of Virginia Drive.

• At 3:12 p.m. on Wednesday, vehicle license plate tabs were reported stolen in the 900 block of Yew Street.

Moped Vandalized

• At 11:02 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a report that a moped was vandalized in the 1500 block of Crescent Avenue.

Man Sent Summons After Alleged Assault

• At 1:01 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a report of a domestic violence assault in the 1500 block of Lewis Street. Police sent a 21-year-old Centralia man a court summons on charges of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence. He allegedly assaulted a woman and damaged a door before fleeing the scene.

Man Cited for Spitting Incident

• At 3:21 p.m. on Wednesday, police cited Colt M. Conzatti, 19, of Centralia, in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road with fourth-degree assault for allegedly spitting in a security guard’s face.

Chehalis Police Department

Trespassers Reported

• At 4:28 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of ongoing issues with trespassing at an address in the 900 block of Northwest Prindle Street.

• At 10:14 p.m. on Monday, a person was reported trespassing in a store in the 1000 block of Northwest State Avenue. No arrests were made.

Assault Reported

• At 6:28 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a domestic-violence assault in the 500 block of Northeast Washington Avenue. No arrests were made.

Suspects Cited on Theft Charges

• At 6:34 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a report of a third-degree theft in the 1000 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. Scotty E. Mullins, 34, of Centralia, was cited on suspicion of third-degree theft for allegedly shoplifting $139.87 in merchandise.

• At 8:21 p.m. on Friday, police cited Ashley A. Teafatiller, 28, of Onalaska, on suspicion of third-degree theft regarding an alleged theft of $136.38 in merchandise on May 9 from the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

• At 1:36 p.m. on Monday, police responded to a report of a theft from the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. Ryan A. Emery, 23, of Chehalis, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree theft for allegedly shoplifting $100 in video games.

• At 4:12 p.m. on Monday, police cited Felicia N. Glenn, 30, of Auburn, on suspicion of third-degree theft in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. She was accused of stealing $161.63 in merchandise.

• At 10:08 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a vehicle prowl in the 100 block of Northeast Hampe Way.

Gunshots Reported

• At 8:01 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of two gunshots in the 700 block of Southeast Adams Avenue.

Vicious Dogs Reported

• At 8:17 p.m. on Saturday, a person in the 700 block of Southwest Pacific Avenue reported their dog was bitten by another dog in the neighborhood.

• At 10:31 a.m. on Sunday, police received a report of a vicious dog near the intersection of Third Street and South Market Boulevard in Chehalis.

ATV Riders Trespass on Property

• At 8:35 p.m. on Saturday, a person reported an ongoing problem of ATV riders trespassing on property in the 600 block of Southwest 20th Street.

Elderly Resident Victim of Ransomware

• At 12:56 p.m. on Sunday, police received a report that a 78-year-old woman was tricked into paying suspects to fix her computer after they infected it with a computer virus or Ransomware.

Money Stolen in Burglary

• At 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, police received a report of a burglary in the 200 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue. A resident reported coming home from work to find the home’s door open and money missing.

Vehicle Stolen

• At 4:12 p.m. on Sunday, a green 1997 Hyundai Elantra was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

Hit and Runs

• At 1:58 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of a hit and run in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street.

• At 2:31 p.m. on Wednesday, a hit and run was reported in the 1000 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. A person reported that a semi hit a concrete post and a water line in a parking lot.

 Cash Stolen from Purse

• At 4:21 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of a theft of about $800 from a purse in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street.

Medication Stolen

• At 3:08 a.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of a theft of medication on Northwest State Avenue in Chehalis.

Fake Cash Reported

• At 9:18 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of a counterfeit $20 bill received at a swap meet in the 2000 block of North National Avenue.

• At 1:05 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of a counterfeit $50 bill in the 1000 block of South Market Boulevard.

Vehicle Prowl

• At 1:54 p.m. on Wednesday, a vehicle prowl was reported in the 1000 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

Shoplifter Takes Cigarettes, Energy Drinks

• At 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of a shoplifter stealing cigarettes and energy drinks at a store in the 1000 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office

Burglary Reported in Toledo

• On May 23, deputies responded to a report of a burglary occurring between Oct. 1, 2016, and May 20, 2017, in the 200 block of Hawkins Road in Toledo. Pipes, wiring, a lock and the door and siding to a pump house were damaged. Garbage was also left at the residence during the time period, when the victims were gone, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

ATVs, Trailer Stolen

• On May 15, deputies received a report of a possible theft from a parking lot in the 1100 block of state Route 6 in Chehalis. After follow-up investigation, on Friday, the Sheriff’s Office received a report that four ATVs and a trailer, valued at $47,000, were stolen from the location. The report is under investigation.

Truck, Gun, Laptop Stolen

• On Sunday, deputies responded to a report that a red 2006 Ford F 350 was stolen from the 3500 block of Cooks Hill Road between 8 a.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday. A Glock handgun and laptop were also taken.

Toledo Man Booked on DUI Charge After Crash

• At 5:07 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a report of a crash in the 200 block of Spencer Road in Toledo. A 2006 Ford Mustang went off the road and hit several fenceposts. The driver, Michael R. White, 26, of Toledo, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He reportedly told deputies he swerved to miss a deer.

10-Year-Old Boy Referred to Prosecutors After Lighting Fire

• At noon on Monday, deputies responded to a a fire in the 300 block of Centralia Avenue in Onalaska. A garage was damaged. Witnesses reported seeing a 10-year-old boy walking from the area of the fire, and after questioned by deputies, the boy reportedly admitted to starting the fire with a lighter. The boy is being referred to juvenile prosecutors on suspicion of reckless burning.

Playstation, Passport Among Items Stolen in Ashford Burglary

• On Monday, deputies responded to a report of a burglary the previous day in the 300 block of Skate Creek Road North in Ashford. Unknown suspects broke a panel of glass in the residence’s back door to gain entry and stole a Playstation 4, sporting goods, a passport, Social Security card and precious stones valued at $1,500, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The incident is under investigation.
