Are you ready for more snow?
The National Weather Service in Seattle says a “one-two punch” will bring snow to the lowlands of Lewis and Thurston counties in addition to other areas of Western Washington today through Wednesday night.
Most places are expected to get less than 1 inch, according to the weather service, though some areas will receive as much as 3 inches as the weather system moves in.
Motorists should prepare for slippery, snow-covered roads.
The weather service has issued a winter weather advisory through 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
Rochester, Centralia, Littlerock, Tenino, Grand Mound and Toledo are among the areas listed by the weather service that are expected to see snow.
“A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties,” according to the weather service. “Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. For the latest road conditions in Washington state, call 511.”
