One Killed in Wrong Way Crash on I-5 Saturday

A Doty man was killed just before midnight Saturday after reportedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 5 in Chehalis, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The deceased driver was identified by the State Patrol as T.J. Lee Sinnott, 23.

Troopers responded to the crash at 11:12 p.m. Saturday at milepost 77 of I-5.

According to a report from the State Patrol, Sinnott was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-5 in a 2003 Hyundai Accent when he collided with a second vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse.

Two passengers in the Chevrolet, identified by the State Patrol as Chelsea R. Zigler, 24, of Clackamas, Oregon and Carrieann M. Zigler, 24, of Gresham, Oregon, were injured and transported to Providence Centralia Hospital.

Both vehicles were totaled.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved, according to the State Patrol.
