By The Chronicle

A Level 3 sex offender recently registered at an address in the Galvin area outside Centralia, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

Dayson D. Wolverton, 25, has registered to live in the 3200 block of Galvin Road.

He is required to register as a sex offender due to a 2004 conviction in Lewis County Juvenile Court to first-degree child molestation and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

Wolverton was accused, at 12 years old, of having sexual contact with two young children who were not related to him, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was released from custody in August 2006. The following year, he was convicted again of communication with a minor for immoral purposes in King County Juvenile Court. He was accused at 14 years old of sexual contact with a young child.

He was also convicted in 2010 of failing to register as a sex offender and was last released from custody in April 2010.

“Based on the totality of circumstances, Wolverton has been identified as a clear risk to the community and this notification is required,” according to the sheriff’s office.

Wolverton is described as a white male standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
