A woman hit by a car at a Centralia intersection Wednesday night died Thursday in Seattle, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The woman was identified Thursday by the office as Patricia Toothill, 77. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma and her manner of death was listed as accidental.
The crash was reported at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of West Main Street, according to the Centralia Police Department.
Toothill was reportedly crossing the street in a crosswalk at the intersection of West Main Street and Iron Street when she was hit by a vehicle.
Police and aid units responded, and the woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The incident is still under investigation by the Centralia Police Department.
