YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Washington State Patrol troopers are stunned by the sudden death of Trooper Clayton J. Gocha in Yakima.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://bit.ly/17HhY2k ) he worked Friday but grew sick over the weekend and went to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital where he died Monday of complications from pneumonia.
The patrol says the 48-year-old served 17 years with the patrol in Yakima and Tacoma. He also served 13 years with the Marine Corps.
